In 1987 I resigned from my teaching post of Head of English. I was exhausted, and I wanted to enjoy time with my two young children aged two and four.

Between us, my husband and I worked in our newly opened Toy Museum. It was fun working in the Museum and I enjoyed meeting visitors, but I didn't really feel fulfilled. The Museum was his baby, not mine. Perhaps the echoes of Post Natal Depression were still haunting me: I wasn't happy. An angry red rash turned up wherever it chose, to let me know I'd exceeded my stress threshold - which was often! And still I felt overwhelmed by deadlines. Better known complementary therapies helped, but the effects didn't last. Fortuitously, I discovered Health Kinesiology and my lovely practitioner Sharon.

First, Sharon resolved my stress about deadlines, fatigue, and other emotional and psychological issues. I had corrections for Allergies. I felt light and relaxed, more comfortable with time, and the rash that resisted all orthodox medicine had gone. With Holographic Repatterning, my repetitive experiences of abandonment in various kinds of relationship were resolved. This allowed me to let go of what no longer serves, and brought me a new sense of self-worth.

When my back locked painfully and I couldn't reach my feet to put my socks on, let alone go to my beloved Jazz Dance class, Sharon used Bowen Therapy to realign my spine. I cautiously slid off the couch - and Hey Presto! the pain had gone. Though it broke the Bowen rules, I enjoyed Jazz Dance that evening and there were no more problems.

Sometimes Sharon channelled Reiki through her hands. I felt cocooned and held in the warm flow of the Reiki energy, so relaxed, I floated in a state of bliss. When the subtle energy work needed physical support, Sharon recommended supplements and changes in diet for Optimum Nutrition.

I went back to regular Yoga classes and took responsibility for my own health. I had completed a Yoga Teacher Training course earlier during my maternity leave from school.

Within these six versatile, highly effective therapies, I knew that anything and everything was possible working with subtle energies. My life had changed! I longed to be able to learn and practise what Sharon had given to me.

When my Mother died in 1998, I knew I couldn't not study Health Kinesiology, Holographic Repatterning, Bowen Therapy, Reiki and Nutrition.

I love the work I do! I passionately want to share with others the gifts of healing that I received. I experience immense satisfaction to see others (and myself) get better. My deep appreciation goes to all those who have brought me in any way to this sense of fulfilment.
